Quote, unquote

"If Frist issued them a clean bill of health, we implore them to get a second opinion."

-- Lexington Herald-Leader, in an editorial titled, "Political Malpractice," to ex-patients of Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN), noting his Senate floor diagnosis of Terri Schiavo's condition was completely wrong.

Evidently the Editors at the Lexington Herald-Leader cannot read English.

NOWHERE in the post-mortem does EITHER physician state that Schiavo had PVS. In fact, they specifically state that a post-mortem cannot determine whether the patient was in such a state.

But if you're an editor, reading plain English is not necessary, I suppose. The intelligence they have is simply infused, without the benefit of effort.
