Morning-after pills don't "cause" unsafe sex

I'm sure the Republicans who want to ban the morning-after pill from UW campuses don't want to be bothered with any facts.

But here's an interesting report from Reuters Health:

"Allowing 'morning-after' contraceptive pills to be sold over the counter does not increase their use, suggesting that easy availability does not lead to an upsurge in unprotected sex, British investigators report."

The pills inevitably cause the death of the fertilized egg.

THAT'S what they are made and sold to do.

Your header could just as well read "Morning-After Pills Don't Cause VD."

We all know that the Morning After Pill has helped the safe sex movement.

It is the perfect remedy and everyone is better off. Forget the disease you carry, take the Morning After Pill and you may itch and scratch for the rest of your life but at least you did't have offspring.

Glad we have the study... thanks for the insight.

By your logic, any woman whose body has rejected a fertilized egg is a murderer, and ought to be sent to prison.

Of course, that would include your wife, your mother and nearly every other woman on Earth.

External chemical causatives are NOT the same as internal natural causes.
