No rest for Rove

The Supreme Court nomination stole the show for a day, but the Plame case is back on the top of page one in today's Washington Post. DailyKos comments.

To be honest, this is good news for the President. If everyone is concerned with Rove, so much so that it allows a solid conservative who could be on the court for 30+ years to slide through easy, so much the better. After all, getting a good conservative through makes it that much more difficult to fillibuster another good young conservative when Rehnquist and possibly others leave in the next three years.

After all, the President doesn't have any more elections to win, but he does have a legacy to leave. Two or three yound staunch conservatives seems more important to me than a deputy SecState.

You folks can pick your battles though, enjoy.
