Questions

Dad29 asks, on his blog;
Not much is publicly-known about the South Shore Park attempted-massacre, yet.

One question of interest: was the shooter an Illegal Alien?
Why would that be the first question to come to mind? (Even if it turns out that he was, I would ask why that would be your first question.)

Mine were: Is he a Catholic? Does he belong to the NRA?

And how many people would be dead if people in the park had responded by pulling out their concealed guns and engaging in a shootout, with hundreds of people, and lots of kids, in the area?

UPDATE:
Speaking Spanish? Must be illegal.

Did Dad29 know his name at 9am, when he asked the question, or did he just know some Latinos had been shot?

I still haven't heard or seen the name anywhere offical, and it's 12 hours later.

Umm..Okay, When you heard that someone named Alberto Gonzalez was being nominated for AG did you ask the same question, Dad?

X, if you actually READ the JSOnline report, you'd find that one of the relatives of the deceased woman arrived and spoke in Spanish (it's the last line of the story...)

QED.

And, Grumpy, about 50% of the Hispanics in Milwaukee are ILLEGALS--

Better question: are you always so cavalier about broken laws? Which OTHER laws don't you give a rip about? Seat belts? "No-Smoking"? Littering? Booster Seats "for the Children?"

Finally, that was not really the first question that came to my mind.

The FIRST question occurred as I watched the TV coverage late Monday evening--and that question was regarding the safety/well-being of a personal friend whose house is directly across the street from that park.

And what if it turned out the shooter was an illegal?

Would there be a lesson there?

What about the 23 others shot over the weekend, presumably by American citizens who don't have Latino names?

What, exactly, is the point of asking whether this particular shooter is an illegal immigrant?

There was no point other than the one not spoken out loud.

And ... The personal well-being of your friend was somehow more threatened by the fact the shooter may have been illegal in your mind?
