Tommy Thompson says in a statement tonight that he won't run for guv this year.
He said his family is opposed to another campaign and that he's convinced Mark Green is the right candidate for the GOP.

Tommy knew the stench of his corrupt and profligate administration would have been too much for him to bear. Now he won't have to worry about dodging Jensen's endorsement. He'll also be a less juicy target for Nick Hurtgen's plea bargain.
Usually when you create the stench you are the last to smell it.
