Are you now, or have you ever been,

a Wal-Mart shopper?

This from college journalism instructor Jessica McBride:

Sometimes reporters ask really good questions

Joe Biden holds a press conference in Iowa to blast Wal-mart and the reporter asks:

NewsChannel 8 asked Biden if he has ever shopped at a Wal-Mart.

He said he has shopped there a couple of years ago. He recalled buying a wheelbarrow and has not been back since.
Excuse me, but that's a really good question? It was so good it made the last paragraph of the story, so the editors weren't too impressed. Maybe that's because it is totally irrelevant.

If that's a "pretty good" question, I am the prince of Denmark. (No, I'm not, so don't bother asking.)

Here's a better question: Isn't it a crime that students pay tuition, hoping they'll learn something from her?
