Why no real opponent for Herb Kohl?
We like him, we really like him.
Feingold's numbers are a little tighter, because Repubs are negative on him.

Its hard to defeat a very rich empty suit that has done nothing in all his time in the Senate. Russ is easy to hate he is always doing stupid things in DC. 99% of Wisconsin Voters of both parties wouldnt notice if Kohl skipped a year of the Senate.
That seat is Kohl's until he decides he no longer wants it. Sad but true. The only bright spot in this for the right is the empty suit is getting very old. That and the fact every 6 years he spends money to make the Bucks look good during elections years.
