If body language could speak ...

Bush's posture speaks volumes, as Robola points out.

Perhaps it was the standing ovation that Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery received when he said:
We know now there were no weapons of mass destruction over there. [Standing Ovation] But Coretta knew and we know that there are weapons of misdirection right down here. Millions without health insurance. Poverty abounds. For war billions more but no more for the poor.

I think that Robola is exactly right. But check out Laura's eyes. If they were lasers I bet the good Reverend would be a goner.

Brace yourself for all the wingnut whining about how inappropriate the comments were at the funeral.

Well guess what -- shut up! It's not your relative's funeral and certainly not Coretta's friend.

If the King family has not problem with it then who cares about your opinion?

You want to tell us how to die ala Teri Schiavo, how we will hear Sykes, Limbaugh, Hannity and the rest of the bloatasphere tsk tsk about the uppityness. Consider the source.

It's time we begin to realize just how intrusive -- despite what they say -- the right wing really is.

Welcome back, Xoff. And the Rev. Dr. Lowery hit the nail on the head with his direct, honest and passionate remarks.

But while his references to the unnecessary, dishonest War in Iraq drew the most attention, other speakers tweaked the nose of the current administration.

There were several references to the botched handling of the Katrina aftermath as evidence that racism is alive and well in America. But these barbs aimed at Dubya and his cronies didn't produce the same discomfort by the president. He politely applauded as did his dad.

So the question once again is, are they just not paying attention most of the time or are they really just stupid?

Inquiring minds want to know.
