Surprise! Clarke to speak to Dems tonight

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke has just accepted an invitation at the North East Dems meeting tonight. His primary opponent, Vince Bobot, also will speak.

The meeting is at the Oakland Trattoria, 2856 N Oakland Ave., at 7 p.m.

Clarke, who hangs out with and supports Republicans for office but runs as a Dem in Milwaukee County, just accepted the invitation late Monday afternoon.

Bobot deserves more support among Dems.

Removing Clarke and replacing him with the sane approach of Bobot would be very beneficial to our county. That said, having anyone who seriously cared about all of our citizens would go a long way.

Clarke is finally getting the understanding that the Republicans are not going to be crossing over to vote in the democratic primary this time.

Without his GOP voters, he's done.

He still has time to run as a Republican and I'm betting that's what he'll do. He'll rationalize it somehow but he ain't gonna win a Democratic primary, no how.
