Another poll has Doyle up

I am not a huge fan of the Wall Street Journal-Zogby poll, but will share the latest results with you, for what it's worth, since the Green Team probably won't put out a press release on this one.

They have Doyle up 49.7 to 43.1. No poll in the world is that precise. Greenies will probably celebrate that Doyle's under 50. (It only has Herb Kohl at 50.7, so factor that in.)

Oh, I can imagine Graul saying something like, "This is fantastically good news! Doyle is still short of 50 percent!"

Zogby and Rasmussen always show the repubs higher than other polls show them, sometimes quite a bit higher. Not real good for a company's credibility, I would think.

They are bad polls, a far higher margin of error and the database is only registered voters.

We all have to wait until Sept. 13th, after the primary when real polls, larger polls, more accurate polls show what is going on.
The speculations of the 11th will be spun beyond beleif.
It will be a fun week of politician bashing.

I'll be a lot more interested in these polls when they begin including either Rae Vogeler against Herb Kohl, Lorge is NOT the candidate seriously running against Kohl, Rae Vogeler is.

I agree with goof in that things will take a more serious turn after the primaries. It will be interesting (and probably appalling) to see what Green will do if he's down by 7-8 points as the clock starts to wind down. Conversely, if it's a dead heat, Doyle will have to make a push of his own.

Interesting results on Kohl.

Does that mean that only 50+% of the voters will actually vote FOR Kohl--and the others will vote for Nobody (Kohl's alter ego)?
