Reynolds taps campaign to keep the juice on

State Sen. Tom Reynolds, R-Pluto, may seem like a dim bulb to some observers.

But he's bright enough to figure out how to get his campaign to pay for the utilities in his home -- which, of course, is also his campaign headquarters, Gretchen Schuldt has discovered.

Hmmm. I work out of a home office...

If you check Dave Zien's campaign report you'll see that his biggest payment was to... Dave Zien. For mileage and expenses, $4670. I with I could get a job where I paid myself to ride my motorcycle.

It is tacky but legal. On the other hand, if it is padded, Zien could end up in a cell. Padded campaign expenses sent Sen. Shoemaker to jail.
