GOP staffer: Iraq safer than Milwaukee

Wild Bill Savage (not making it up), a Republican legislative staffer in the Capitol, sent an e-mail around comparing body counts per capita in Milwaukee and Iraq. Then, worried that someone might misinterpret, he sent another saying he didn't mean any disrespect to the troops in Iraq.

I kid you not.
