O'Reilly: Madison communes with Satan

I mean, this is not Madison, Wisconsin, where you expect those people to be communing with Satan up there in the Madison, Wisconsin, media. -- Bill O'Reilly.

First it was Mark Green, alienating voters in the state's second biggest city, which he calls "Planet Madison."

But now Madison has hit the big time. Fox News' Bill O'Reilly, champion of Christmas with a capital Christ, goes after Madtown, too.

Media Matters has more.

The sad thing is someone like O'Reilly who has no Christian values acting like he is the champion of Christmas. Give me a break!

Let's put Christ back into Christian.

O'Reilly's had some doozies in this War on Christmas. He helped lead the charge on a Wisconsin elementary school, accusing them of changing the words to "Silent Night".

See the Dodgeville School District's statement at their web site.

They were performing a 1988 play about a Christmas tree where the story is told using the melody of traditional carols but with different words. The play's creator, Dwight Elrich, leads the New Covenant Singers of Bel Air Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. The grand finale is an audience-led group singing of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."

He claimed that both a Plano, TX school district and the township of Saginaw, MI prohibited red and green clothing. Officials at both locations have no idea what he's talking about.
