Ridgeway a casualty in Christmas war

Christmas came to the small town of Ridgeway, Wis. this year complete with a police escort and tight security for an elementary school holiday concert, Susan Lampert Smith reports in her Wisconsin State Journal column.

Ridgeway was one of the communities singled out by the Liberty Council as being a combatant in the war on Christmas, and soon was denounced by Jerry Falwell, Bill O'Reilly and an unheavenly host.

It was, of course, much ado about nothing. But it certainly ruined a small town's Christmas.

Your town dis wage a war on X-mas. Don't let the PC people push you around. You do realize that 94% of the country celebrates x-mas. So your town got what it deserved by trying to destroy X-mas for 94% of its people.

JOker is a perfect example of someone who pays no attention to details and just shouts the latest talking point. If he read the WSJ article JOker would of seen that the name of the school's holiday program was, "The Little Tree's CHRISTMAS Gift," and was written by a church choir director. Therefore his whole comment is nothing but static, which is what the advocates against this so-called War on Christmas want to do: Distract us from the real problems this country is currently facing.
