Green gets it wrong -- really wrong
Always quick to jump on an opportunity to throw mud at Gov. Jim Doyle, Clean Mark Green rushed out a press release today, based on a Journal Sentinel story about a group of "faith-based" organizations claiming they were discriminated against in a donor program for state workers.
The headline on Green's release:
Green Campaign: No Donations for Faith-Based Organizations Under Doyle
Green staffers apparently missed this sentence in the JS story:
Still, 25 organizations classified as "faith-based" did qualify for the program, including Catholic Charities, Jewish Social Services, Lutheran World Relief and the Salvation Army.
