Green out of step on abortion stance

Mark Green's campaign likes the new Strategic Vision poll, done by a Republican firm, which shows him in a close race with Jim Doyle.

This result may give him some pause, as he touts his brand new endorsement from Wisconsin Right to Life:

6. Would you like to see the United States Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade?
Yes 35%
No 56%
Undecided 9%
Green, who supports a law that's even stricter than the controversial one passed in South Dakota, is way out of step with Wisconsin voters. Despite the rightward tilt of the legislature, Wisconsin is still a pro-choice state.

NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin says Green's record is extreme, even voting against birth control and health care for women.

Here's a taste of Wisconsin under Gov. Green.
