More trouble for TABOR

Supporters of Bride of TABOR, aka Taxpayer Protection Amendment, are still looking for 17 Republican State Senators willing to vote for this gimmick.

The GOP controls the Senate 19-14. Democrats are unanimously opposed, so if three Rs defect the amendment will fail -- or more likely never come to a vote, unless backers think a roll call would help them in the fall elections.

Seth Zlotocha has been keeping watch, and says it appears two GOP Senators already have jumped ship. If that's accurate, one more and TABOR is dead for this session. Wouldn't it be loverly?
