Nazis granted permit to rally at CapitolThey are expected to endorse the death penalty referendum and the anti-gay constitutional amendment on the November ballot. No word yet on whether they will endorse any candidates or burn any books or flags.
Madison - Organizers of a Nazi rally have been granted a permit to demonstrate at the state Capitol next month, and state officials are working with them to accommodate both the demonstration and the expected counterprotests.
Just for the record, I support free speech and think they should be allowed to have their say. I suspect others may want to make some statements that day as well, and that should be allowed, too. Remember Skokie, anyone?

Remember what Joliet Jake Blues told us. "I hate Illinois Nazis."
It's expected they'll also endorse more funding for mass transit to make the trains run on time.
I thought it was Mussolini who proudly proclaimed that his fascists made the trains run on time.
