DeLay for OMB?

Apparently this is not meant as a joke. Right wing blogger John Hinderaker boosts Tom DeLay for the Office of Management and Budget. He says:
... DeLay is one of a handful of candidates to replace Josh Bolten as Director of the Office of Management and Budget. If we could get the spending-hawk DeLay of the 1990s rather than the "no more fat to cut" DeLay of more recent years, he'd be a good choice. No one knows more about the budget. And I'd like to see the administration show some support for DeLay.
And he certainly knows double-entry bookkeeping, which would come in handy.

What the corrupt, power-crazed DeLay really needs is to have his hinder raked. And John would be just the guy to do it. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
