Having been part of the problem while a state legislator (he opposed campaign finance reform at every turn), Scott will soon wish he'd have supported public financing of campaigns. He'd not only have a chance he'd be a shoo-in for cleaning up the system. But he didn't then and he won't now. He could have paid for his campaign with a taxpayer grant and not had to worry about the wealth gap.
