Quote, unquote

"Those who vote against bringing the troops home don't get it. They're not out there enough. They're not listening to the people. Frankly, they're not even looking at the polls. I have been all over Wisconsin, all 72 counties, to 12 different states. I can tell you, the one thing I'm sure of [is that] the American people have had it with this intervention. They do want a timetable for bringing home the troops...We lost in 2000, we lost in 2002, we lost in 2004. Why don't we try something different, like listening to the American people?"

Thanks to the utterings of Feingold and the extreme pull to the left - the Dem's will now lose again in 2008.

Keep up the good work Russ!

Extreme pull to the left? That "left" would be at 60% ( and growing ) of ALL Americans. Read those polls and weep, wingnut xout.

The deep-left is at 30% and will be contracting.

The chances of a Dem takeover in congress are dropping daily. You guys were so close too - thanks for all of your help because Republicans certainly didn't rescue their majority.

We shall see, wingnut xout. In November, we shall see.

Xoff and Badgervan -

Name one GOP'r who WANTS to be at war...

Chirp chirp go the Crickets

No one wants to be at war. But you keep those rose colored glasses on - it worked so well for Jimmy Carter didn't it?

Clint: Too easy. cheney/king of haliburton. All defense related industries; vast majority run by rethugs. bush - revenge daddy and take our minds off osama's continued freedom. Also all the rethugs running for office who bang the war drums continuously.
Way too easy. You're the "war" party, remember? Too bad that this time its gonna bite you in the ass.

What Russ missed in his comments is the timetable would be for bringing not only our Troops back home to our shores, but would bring the WAR ITSELF TO OUR SHORES.

We do not hav ethe luxury of walking away from this fight.

Either get yourself a prayer rug and prepare to convert (if they let you live) or show some spine by fighting for our way of life.

Sure glad we have those troops out there so we can wringe our hands while crying in our beer in uninterrupted comfort at home.
