Welcome will ruin Bush stealth plans

George Bush is planning a stealth visit to Wisconsin Thursday to raise money for John Gard, his choice to replace Rubber Stamp Mark Green in the House. Democrats aren't going to let that happen.

Green has voted with Bush 93% of the time. Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-Rove-etc are hoping Gard will be more reliable than that. Gard has been "honored" as Rubber Stamp of the Week.

While Bush attends a private fundraiser for Gard, off limits to the media, and does a plant visit to be covered only by a pool reporter, activists are planning a big welcome for him:

ACTION ALERT: No More Bush Rubber Stamps

WHAT: RED CARPET RUBBER STAMP EVENT

WHEN: 10:00 AM Thursday, August 10, 2006

WHERE: Hidden Valley Park (Ashwaubenon)
Corner of Packerland Rd. at Waube Lane

They promise Bush and Gard impersonators, a gigantic rubber stamp and a red carpet of Bush/Gard rubber stamp issues.

If you can't make the event, you can still join the No More Bush Rubber Stamps campaign today at One Wisconsin Now.
