Sensenbrenner ponies up 100K to NRCC

Rep. F. Jim Sensenbrenner is making an investment to try to remain a part of the majority in the House. He's like to chair a committee again, no doubt.

The tight-fisted Sensenbrenner has given the National Republican Congressional Committee $100,000. Of course, it's from his campaign account, not his wallet. Still, it's a sign he wants to try to buy a spot in leadership if the Rs happen to prevail.

CQ has the story and list of other big donors. Rep. Paul Ryan, who had $1-million-plus in the bank the last I knew, did not make the list, although he may have given a lesser amount.

He's already in line to again chair the Science and Technology committee, which he held previously but gave up to chair the Judiciary.

Of course, should R's lose in November he will get to stay on Judiciary as ranking member, where he may well get the distinction of having not only been a House manager in the impeachment of President Clinton, but defending Bush against the impeachment charges a wacko Pelosi-led House will likely pursue, her claims to the contrary notwithstanding.

We might see another childlike ranting and shut down of the committee, like Senslessbrainer pulled this spring.
Ranking member has no power to do anything.
Other than hope the Chair gives him some mic time.

Apparently, you didn't see the news where Ms. Pelosi stated that an impeachment would not occur on her watch.

So whats the next thing on your neocon attack list?
Here's on for you.
Our Big Fat Obnoxious Congressman's money all came fromone course. His daddy. Tampons and Kotex.
You knowm the same things that killed hundreds when it was found that toxic shock syndrome was linked to those products.

Why does Jimmy hate women, so much as to let them die like that?

I don't see where Bill mentions the $700,000 that the communist teachers union gave the Greater Wisconsin Committee. Of coarse we all know that Bill is a "PARTIAN" dirty Doyle henchman who specializies in exploiting loop holes in campaign finance laws to do his unlawful, shady bidding. I just shows that the Democrats can't play by the rules fairly they have to cheat, and lie in order to win elections.

Criticize Sensenbrenner all you want, but only a childish partisan would try to argue that he is not a very intelligent and knowledgeable Congressman, and he would tie Conyers in fits with various parlimentary procedures if he so chose.

And yes, I saw Ms. Pelosi's repeated denials against a Bush impeachment, and it kind of reminded me of Bill Clinton denying emphatically that he 'ever had sexual relations with that woman.'

What does inherited wealth have to do with Sensenbrenner's committee assignment? Stick to the subject.
