Bush's numbers too low to be in the toilet
As my drill instructor used to say, "You are lower than whale shit. And that's on the bottom of the ocean."
The latest CBS News poll finds President Bush's approval rating has fallen to an all-time low of 34 percent, while pessimism about the Iraq war has risen to a new high.

And discussion about jettisoning Veep "Barney Fife" Cheney and annointing a fresh face positioned for '08 suddenly doesn't seem so farfetched. Cheney's poll numbers are abysmal.
But who would they choose? Not Condi, Not McCain, Not Guiliani, Not Powell, Not DeLay, Not Frist, Not Hastert. Hmm, suddenly look which party has a leadership vacuum!
And Edwards looked tanned, rested and ready in Milwaukee yesterday, Feingold is wowing 'em in blogland, Richardson could come out strong, former Virginia Gov. Warner has his admirers. I admire Hillary and think she's as savvy as they come but the donkey party has plenty of horses ready for a run around the track. I say politics is the best spectator sport around and Let The Games Begin!!!
