Reynolds campaign still in denial

One of the architects of the Tom Reynolds State Senate campaign, consultant/strategist Bob Dohnal responds in an e-mail to the evidence that the Reynolds camp is behind the false claims that his oppenent, Jim Sullivan, double voted:

Christoferson wins the Pulitzer. He studied and studied and found out that people in opposite campaigns may criticize each other.
Actually, what I found is that J.J. Blonien, Dohnal's partner in crime at the Wisconsin Conservative Digest, is a bald-faced liar.

And I found that while Dohnal is writing about "ethics and honesty," the campaign he's advising is conducting an unethical smear campaign and lying about it.

Maybe that shouldn't be a surprise, either.

Here's a refresher, with what Blonien told WisPolitics:
“It’s not coming from the campaign,” Blonien said. “It’s coming from residents in the district that have concerns.”

“I was not involved in this at all other than the fact that when Stan (Zurawski) called me asked me if I had copies of the records, I just sent him copies of the records,” Blonien said.

“I’ve not sent out any material attacking Sullivan. That’s not in our game plan. Our game plans not to mention him at all. We do not plan on doing any attacks on anybody,” Blonien said. “That’s not our style.”
Here's the earlier post with the evidence that the whole smear effort is a Blonien-Dohnal production, start to finish.

UPDATE: Gretchen Schuldt wonders whether Christian candidate Tom Reynolds approves of Dohnal saying "Fuck you" to me, among other things, in an e-mail. She also announces there will be a Reynolds-Sullivan debate Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church West, 13001 W. North Ave, Brookfield. Should be highly entertaining.

UPDATE: Reynolds may duck debate.

Will somebody be videotaping the event?

If it's anything like his town hall meetings, Reynolds won't allow videotaping.
